JW Marriott Turnberry
Set on a 300-acre oasis in Aventura, Turnberry Isle Miami, recently acquired by Marriott, is home to two 18-hole golf courses, a three-story wellness spa, two swimming pools including a lazy river and waterslide and two award-winning restaurants, Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina and Corsair Kitchen & Bar. It’s also located directly across the street from the upscale Aventura Mall with more than 300 stores.
The hotel is currently undergoing an expansion through Fall 2018. Once completed, the sprawling resort will feature 685 guestrooms including a new guestroom tower (Orchid) which will have 325 keys. The meeting space will expand from 40,000 square feet to 121,000 square feet overlooking one of the golf courses. St. Regis, Bal Harbour
The St. Regis Bal Harbour is one of Miami’s few Forbes Travel Guide Five Star luxury properties. The 216-room resort also boasts a Five Star spa, an oceanfront swimming pool and three signature restaurants — Atlantikos, BH Burger Bar and The St. Regis Bar & Sushi Lounge.
With 17,000 square-feet of indoor meeting space spread across 21 venues, the spaces range in size from 337 to 7,800 square-feet accommodating everything from intimate boardroom meetings to gala receptions. The beautiful outdoor grounds can accommodate receptions ranging from 50 to 200 guests along the oceanfront or poolside. Acqualina Resort & Spa
Acqualina Resort & Spa in Sunny Isles Beach is another one of Miami’s hallowed Forbes Travel Guide Five Star properties. It stands out on the horizon for its towering Mediterranean Revival facade and its signature red umbrellas and lounge chairs on the beach. It boasts a Five Star spa, oceanfront swimming pools and two signature restaurants — AQ Chophouse and Il Mulino.
This 98-room resort also provides 3,644 square-feet of meeting space with an adjoining oceanfront terrace, as well as two lawns and poolside activations. There are nine indoor venues to choose from ranging in size from 530 to almost 2,000 square-feet, accommodating up to 130 guests indoors and 175 outdoors. They’ve also recently launched an innovative, streamlined mobile app designed specifically for corporate meeting planners with virtual booking capabilities and a “click to chat” feature. Courtyard Miami Aventura Mall
For a more intimate meetings facility, the Courtyard Miami Aventura Mall has two meeting rooms for a total of over 1,200 square-feet of space that can accommodate up to 55 guests and onsite catering. The property features The Bistro restaurant, a swimming pool and fitness center. It’s also in close proximity to the Aventura Mall.

For a one-of-a-kind activity or spousal program with your group, consider a day at Topgolf. Part-driving range, part-entertainment complex, your day will include three-hours of Topgolf game play at reserved bays with a game demo and dedicated host. You can choose from a variety of catering themes including backyard BBQ, Fajita Fiesta, Italian Table and All-American. There are also a variety of beverage packages to meet your needs and budget.

The North Beach Bandshell hosts a fun, festive and delicious meet-up on the fourth Wednesday of the month with their Food Truck & Music Fest held from 5 to 10 p.m. A slew of popular local food trucks line up along Ocean Terrace for the evening. It’s complete with free entertainment and live music.
Haulover Park Food Truck Fest is held every Tuesday from 5 to 9:30 p.m. produced by MiamiFoodTruckEvents. It’s a great opportunity to mingle with neighbors or locals and enjoy music from a live DJ, while sampling delectable food truck fare, of course.
North Beach Bandshell
The North Beach Bandshell is one of Miami’s most unique and enchanting performance venues. Originally built in 1961, the charming amphitheater is on the National Register of Historic Places as a prime example of Miami Modern architecture. With string lighting twinkling overhead, it’s an incredible venue for al fresco concerts made all the more enjoyable by the ocean breeze.
Under management of the nonprofit Rhythm Foundation, the North Beach Bandshell hosts regular concerts of music from around the world in an intimate venue that brings a mix of families, young people, and neighborhood residents. It’s also available for facility rentals and Miami’s top nonprofit arts groups have used the space for events including O, Miami Poetry Festival.
