Fresh off a $50 million renovation and redesign including the 65,000 square-feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space, Loews Miami Beach Hotel is a premiere destination for conferences and functions. The newly reimagined property takes on a dazzling Art Deco aesthetic with noble materials in a glittering palette of amethyst, granite, brass and marble that extends to the impressive meetings facilities on the second and third floors. The spacious 790-room hotel is ideally located oceanfront on South Beach just one block south of Lincoln Road.
Loews ballrooms and conference rooms can accommodate anywhere from 10 to 2,700 people with experienced onsite meetings consultants and an incredible variety of in-house catering options available. As longtime hosts of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, it’s safe to say the Loews knows how to throw a party and a successful event.
The crown jewel of the hotel’s conference facilities is the Americana Ballroom located on the hotel’s second floor, accessible by both elevators and escalators. At 28,000 square-feet with ample additional foyer and gallery space, the ballroom has a capacity for up to 2,630 people. It can also be divided into four separate salons ranging from 4,800 square-feet to 9,750 square-feet with a wide variety of layouts, including theater, classroom, reception and banquet-style. The smaller salons have a capacity for anywhere from 215 to 900 people.
In addition to its grand scale, the Americana Ballroom’s draw is the oceanfront the floor-to-ceiling windows with dazzling views of the Loews poolscape and Atlantic Ocean. The Americana Ballroom also boasts an outdoor terrace and lawn designed with the option for an indoor-outdoor gala event. The terrace can hold 200 guests in a reception and 120 in a banquet, while the lawn can accommodate 1,000 guests for a reception and 400 for a banquet.
For mid-sized events, ranging from 260 to 640 guests, the 6,270 square-foot Poinciana Ballroom on the second floor is the perfect option. Poinciana can also be divided into four smaller meeting spaces of about 1,400 square-feet each accommodating 85 to 150 guests depending on the floor plan design. It also boasts a foyer and two additional smaller meeting rooms.
Third Floor Meeting Rooms
The third floor is home to 14 meeting rooms ranging in size from 368 to 3,780 square-feet accommodating 16 to 250 people depending on the layout. Almost all of these spaces can be setup in a theater, classroom, reception or banquet space.
In addition to Americana Ballroom’s outdoor spaces, you can also choose to stage your event by the pool deck’s SOAK Cabanas or on the historic St. Moritz Lawn. SOAK provides a chic poolside South Beach ambiance for your party with ample reception space beneath the palm trees and glittering stars for 250 people. The 5,976 square-foot St. Moritz Lawn can be activated for a 250-person banquet or a 550-person reception.
Catering & Services
With five onsite restaurants including the upscale Lure Fishbar helmed by executive chef Josh Capon, the options are virtually unlimited when it comes to catering your meeting or gala event at Loews. For your recreational enjoyment while on property, you can also unwind with a spa treatment, yoga or core fusion barre class at Exhale Spa in the St. Moritz tower.
