Anchored by East, Miami hotel, Brickell City Centre’s high-design, mixed-use development delivers big with meetings and events.
When Swire Properties opened Brickell City Centre and its flagship hotel East, Miami in May 2016, they not only debuted a high-design, mixed-use development brimming with luxury shopping, restaurants, office space and condominiums, they also unveiled some of the most desirable meetings and events spaces in the city. The development spans 11 acres with the shopping centre composed of 500,000 square-feet and over 100 luxury boutiques across three levels. East, Miami looms 40 stories high with 352 guest rooms, including 97 suites, and 20,000 square-feet of flexible meeting space.
For your group, the sky’s literally the limit since East’s most coveted meeting space is found on the 39th floor penthouse. All of the meeting and event spaces feature top-of-the-line audio-visual equipment and technical support, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows for breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and Miami’s skyline. Brickell City Centre Bridgeway
Located on Brickell City Centre’s second floor, the Bridgeway is a 1,837 square-foot outdoor space flanked by palm fronds with western views of Miami’s glittering skyline. It’s the perfect space for a social gathering or cocktail hour with capacity for 75 people.
East, Miami’s The Crush – Level 39
Situated high in the sky on East, Miami’s 39th floor, the 3,300 square-foot Crush ballroom boasts sweeping 11-foot tall ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows for a stunning panorama of Miami’s skyline. With multiple meeting configurations available, the space has a banquet capacity for 232 people with space for an additional 80 upon activation of the Crush Foyer. The space is ideally suited to gala affairs with a reception capacity for 300 in Crush and 250 in Crush Foyer.
East, Miami’s Rise, Set & High Noon – Level 38
One floor below Crush, East, Miami features the Rise and Set event spaces, aptly named for the direction they face in relation to the sun’s journey around the earth. You’ll catch Miami’s technicolor sunsets in the Set event space and soothing sunrises (if your team is up that early) in the Rise event space. Each of the 1,600 square-foot spaces has a banquet capacity for 120 people and can host receptions for up to 175. Each room has a foyer that can host an additional 24 people for a reception. The more intimate High Noon is located at the center of the 38th floor at 840 square-feet and can be used as either a conference or reception space for 14 people.
On the sixth floor, you’ll find four workshop rooms ranging in size from 630 to 875 square-feet, perfect for breakout sessions and small meetings. They can hold from 32 to 48 people in a banquet setting and 24 to 64 in a reception. Two of the workshop rooms can be combined for a total of 1,525 square-feet of space and a capacity for 80 people in a banquet and 130 for a reception.
The hotel also boasts an impressive pool deck and shrubbery garden on the ground floor perfect for cocktail receptions or banquets surrounded by the city’s soaring skyscrapers. At 2,350 square-feet, the pool deck has a capacity for 350 guests in a reception setting and 120 in a banquet. The shrubbery provides additional space for 80 guests in a reception and 40 for a banquet.
Bars, Restaurants, Catering
Helmed by Uruguayan parilla restaurant Quinto La Huella, as well as Sugar rooftop bar, East, Miami offers a wide variety of catering options, as well as space to host private dinners and cocktail receptions. Your team will also have access to all of the great dining offered at Brickell City Centre from Pubbelly Sushi to Luke’s Lobster and the forthcoming La Centrale Italian Food Hall.
